A Perfectly Crisp Morning

The Distillery District is such a great Toronto landmark and it's beauty is one of my favorite backdrops for an outdoor shoot. It was my first time working with this family but I felt like we were old friends by the end of it! The boys were super fun and very stylishly dressed I might add! We ran around the Distillery, checking out secret doors and climbing the variety of 'art' pieces situated throughout. A great morning for all.

Mamma's Boy

I've had the pleasure of photographing this little boy a number of times and he just keeps getting cuter and cuter!! Mom is expecting baby number 2 in a couple of months and I can't wait to meet the new addition!

Growing Family

This beautiful brother and sister duo will soon meet their new baby brother or sister! Given how cooperative and playful they were for me, I'd say their Mom and Dad will have a couple of great helpers for when the baby arrives.

It has been a crazy couple of weeks and the weather has been unbelievable!

Perfect Light

These boys are going to be a couple of heart breakers!

Sherwood Park at twilight was beautiful early this week... and so were my clients! I LOVE freckles and this family had a wonderful collection of them!

Turning one and on the run!

Happy 1st birthday little man!
Toronto's Distillery District is such a beautiful, historic place to visit and it's a great place for little ones to explore. I chased this sweetie around snapping pictures as he explored the cobble stones, secret doorways and of course, puddles! Although he isn't walking yet, this one year old is a super fast crawler and I got my workout for the day.

Brand new and beautiful

It is always such a treat to photograph newborn babies. They smell so sweet and are so innocent... I just want to snuggle them the whole time I'm working with their families!! This little girl was no exception... in fact she was exceptional. Beautiful baby V slept peacefully through most of our shoot and allowed me to capture some wonderful images that her Mom and Dad will have forever.

Bad Reactions!!!

Can you tell that this guy would rather be anywhere but with me during this shoot? Wow... I was challenged with this shoot from the get go. Just as things were starting to go my way, one of the other kids had an allergic reaction to the grass I had them rolling around in! Yikes! In the end, we made it through and got some create images of the kids.

Happy Father's Day

This photo session was an effort to come up with a great gift for Dad for Father's Day. It was supposed to be a surprise but I don't think this little monkey would contain the secret for long! We had a great shoot and Mom got a nice morning of snuggles and girl time!

This household must be busy busy busy!! I worked up a good sweat chasing these two very active, very silly and super cute boys around the Brickworks!

Irish Eyes

This little Angel was born on St. Patrick's Day and has an amazing Irish name to boot! Look at those eyes...

Spring Has Sprung

OK... so I"m a bit late writing about this glorious day in April but it is worthy of a few words!
This little man was a reminder for me that time flies way too fast... if my own kids weren't enough of a reminder each day.
I had the honour of photographing C and his parents last July when he was brand new and now look what a big boy he's become! Happy Birthday little guy!

On the move!

I really need to make this blogging thing a more regular occurrence! I can't believe it has been a couple of months since I posted something... yikes!

Well, I've got good reason to post an update today. I spent Superbowl Sunday doing something so much more fun than preparing to watch a silly Football game (tee hee!)... I took pictures of this beautiful little boy and his lovely parents. Baby M has sparkling eyes, a gorgeous smile and an infectious laugh. He has also decided that life should be spent on the move so although we were able to quickly snap a few stationary shots, we all moved around and worked up a good sweat as I worked to capture the essence of who this charmer is right now.
